Southeast Aceh Regency ((インドネシア語:Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara)) is a regency in the Aceh special region of Indonesia. The regency covers an area of 4,231.41 square kilometres and according to the 2010 census had a population of 179,010 people; the latest official estimate (as at 2014) is 188,461.〔Biro Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 2011.〕 The seat of the regency government is at Kutacane.In 1969, the Southeast Aceh Regency was separated from the Central Aceh Regency; however in 2002 the northern part of this regency was itself split away to form the new Gayo Lues Regency. The main commodities produced in the regency are palm oil, cacao, coconut, coffee, nutmeg, walnut, and pachouli oil 〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Aceh Tenggara )〕 The main rivers are the Alas River and the Butan River.
